Transform Your Life with Prairie Lakes Youth Programs

Levels & Phases

Our programs are designed to meet our youth with dignity through our culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices. Youth earn levels/phases as they demonstrate growth and progress throughout their individualized program.

Length of Stay

The length of stay varies for each youth from one day to years, based on their individualized treatment plan, developed with the family, placement team, and the PLYP team. Our programs become home for some of our youth who have no where else to go.

Daily Schedule

Daily activities and schedules are based on the program, ability to be off grounds in various programs, individualization, and follow rule 2960.

A daily schedule typically includes:

Volunteering & Work

In non-secure and group home programs youth have the opportunity to earn volunteering and work experiences with community partnerships. These opportunities are developed with the treatment team on an individualized basis.
