The Prison Rape Elimination Act, or PREA, is a federal law to guide correctional institutions in regards to detecting, preventing, reducing, and punishing sexual abuse/misconduct in confinement settings. While the law specifically pertains the PLYP secure programs. PLYP has zero tolerance for incidents of sexual abuse, sexual misconduct or sexual harassment.
PLYP investigates all reports of criminal conduct, including sexual abuse and sexual harassment, occurring at our facility.
